Our Mission
Our company is here to serve all of your jewelry, beach wear, and halau needs. Over the years we have taken our customers to a highest feeling of being the primary person in our website. In other words, the customer comes first as if they were part of the ohana (family).
We believe that everyone needs to be treated with the utmost care and consideration when buying anything from any website, whether this one or others. So, we are here to serve your needs. The products in this website originates from the Islands of Hawaii, and most of them are manufactured right there through native craftsmen.
Our Experience
Our website has been catering to the needs of our customers for at least three years. We are still serving customers who have been with us from the beginning. We would like to spread our "Aloha" which has been given to us for generations past. Everyone should feel that whatever the problem there is always a sensible solution, so no one should be frustrated with the process.
My wife and I are originally from the Island of Oahu in the Hawaiian chain, and we both grew up loving the things of Hawaii. Many of the handmade crafts in our Online Store section (Hawaiian Craft part) is made with loving care and talent by the wife. Since she grew up in the "country" side of the North Shore and I was raised in Honolulu, we have acquired many ancient ways of designing our crafts. The jewelry in this website comes directly from Hawaii and she wears many, many of the Hawaiian bangles and bracelets to show the love for the things of our Islands.
You should also visit our Luau Section in the "Helpful Links" section where we try to develop a love for Hawaiian cuisine every where that we cater. All you from Southern California go to this section to see for yourself the menus and entertainment for your "Special" Occasions.
We also have two daughters that are professional hula dancers. Call us to hire them for a show. Our oldest daughter has her own halau (studio) her in Southern California. The name of her halau is: "Hula I Lalo Ka La" which loosely translated means "dancing under the sun". http://www.freewebs.com/auntymapuana/hulailalokala.htm

The Meaning of ALOHA
The Aloha Spirit is pervasive in the Hawaiian Islands. Living Aloha is living warmth, compassion, genuine caring, and happiness. Here is the true meaning of Aloha.
A stands for Akahai, meaning kindness, to be expressed with tenderness.
L stands for Lokahi, meaning unity, to be expressed with harmony.
O stands for Olu'olu, meaning agreeable, to be expressed with pleasantness.
H stands for Ha'aha'a, meaning humility, to be expressed with modesty.
A stands for Ahonui, meaning patience, to be expressed with perseverance.
HAWAIIAN HEIRLOOM JEWELRY is a tradition in the Islands. Its origin traces back to the Hawaiian monarchs visiting England during the Victorian Era. Back in 1887 Queen Kapiolani and Princess Liliuokalani attended Queen Victoria's Jubilee. There they were presented with precious gold bracelets, with their names cut out in Old English Lettering. They thought this was the most incredibly beautiful gift one could receive, and the tradition was started. When the Royal members visited Hawaii, they also received gold bracelets with their names cut out and written in Hawaiian. The legacy is stronger than ever with all the beauty of the Hawaiian culture.
Here is one of the most beautiful styles of jewelry, the Aloha Pendant. Now YOU can own a piece of these cherished collections and a piece of Hawaii.
The Stone of Heaven
WHAT IS THIS GEM OR STONE? In Chinese, the word yu translated to English means precious stone. Yu is revered by the Chinese as a true gem and comes in two forms: nephrite and jadeite. Both, the more common nephrite and the more expensive jadeite, are colorless or white when free of foreign elements.
So, what IS this gem or stone in today's common language? It is the JADE, which the Chinese and other ancient peoples considered more valuable than gold. The ancient Chinese believed that JADE embodied the forces of nature and the Universe as it emanated transcendental qualities. These qualities were often interpreted by the JADE carver and JADE holder as supernatural symbols of immortality, protection, and virtuous behavior. JADE is believed to bring good luck, health and fortune, assist during childbirth and protect infants from disease.
JADE is a very hard stone and fashioning it into the desired shapes took an exceptionally long and painstaking process, especially during ancient days. Most of the raw materials, throughout its long history, was received from river beds and quarries of upper Burma.
Today, JADE is carved into a huge variety of statues and ornaments as well as imminently popular JADE jewelry, especially with the Chinese. JADE necklaces, JADE earrings, and JADE rings are all popular but, the most common form of JADE has to be the timeless JADE bangle. JADE is tougher than granite and more difficult to carve than solid steel.
The quality of JADE basically covers four areas:
1. Tone and color: the quality of color, one of the most important issues. The best colors are penetrating. They should be pure and evenly distributed.
2. Translucency and clarity: ranges from transparent to opaque. The best quality has a consistent clarity like honey.
3. Texture: ranges from fine to coarse. The best quality is clear and free of impurities.
4. Cutting: the shaping of the jade.
The colors of JADEite can range from black to grey, to white, to yellow, red or reddish-brown, lavender, and of course, various colors of green. The colors above are thought to symbolize the following:
GREEN JADE represents wealth
LAVENDER (purple) JADE represents beauty
RED JADE represents strength
WHITE JADE represents purity
CHARCOAL/BLACK JADE represents wisdom
YELLOW JADE represents royalty.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN EXPERIENCING SOMETHING UNIQUE, THEN IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU PURCHASE A JADE.
Important Safety Tips For A Fantastic Hawaiian Trip!
Traveling to Hawaii?
Maopopo ke Moana (Understand the Ocean)
The ocean is never more inviting than in Hawaii, but don't take for granted. During the Winter months, the South Shore (around Waikiki) is generally calm as a lake while the North Shore has rougher surf and riptides. The opposite is true in Summer. To be safe in all seasons, beachgoers should keep the following tips in mind.
PICK A BEACH WITH A LIFEGUARD. Keep in mind that lifeguards are not on every beach in each of the Islands, and that they can not watch everyone all the time. Most lifeguards are on duty only from about 9:00 A.M. to 5 P.M.
ASK LIFEGUARDS OR THE LOCALS ABOUT CONDITIONS. Before jumping in, examine the ocean. Ask yourself, "Is there anyone else in the water?" - if not FIND OUT WHY! Study the waves, their frequency and size; look for currents and riptides. If you don't know the difference betweena riptide and rip Taylor, PLEASE ask a lifeguard about the current conditions and which areas to avoid.
PAY ATTENTION TO SIGNS POSTED ON COASTAL AREAS. Ocean conditions can change radically in a short time. Signs are posted to save you from harm! They may warn about large waves, undertows, slippery rocks, jellyfish, and other hazardous conditions. READ AND HEED!
STAY ON DRY SAND, SEA WALLS, OR ROCKS AND NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON THE OCEAN. Large waves can sweep you off the beach or rocks and pull you out to deep water without warning. Respect the maopopo (ocean) and don't take risks like trying to get closer to the Blowhole, Toilet Bowl at Hanauma Bay, or posing in the ocean for a picture with the big surf breaking in the background!
If you see someone in trouble, FIND A LIFEGUARD OR CALL 911....and report the location and situation - and unless you're a very strong swimmer, DON'T TRY TO BE A HERO!
